The Rental Manager is responsible for ensuring that CMC’s inventory of machinery and tools are efficiently leased and managed to meet the diverse needs of our clients.
Here is what that really means:
- Oversees the entire life cycle of the rental process including any required forms and agreements.
- Analyzes market trends and develops strategic partnerships.
- Evaluates and improves sales within the rental fleet.
- Manages relationships with partners and vendors.
- Maintains accurate inventory of all equipment and ensures all equipment is properly tracked and recorded.
- Increase profitable rental revenue.
- Assesses and manages risk to the company.
- Resolves any equipment-related issues or malfunctions.
- Ensures that all equipment meets industry standards and complies with company policies.
- Ensuring all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
- Identifying and addressing problems and opportunities for the company.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as an Equipment Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Good understanding of inventory management procedures
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Degree in logistics, business administration or relevant field is a plus
